China Journal of Social Work (CJSW),the first academic English journal in Chinese mainland on social work field,is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Taylor and Francis Group, in collaboration with“Peking University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University China Social Work Research Centre”,which endeavors to provide a platform for scholars within and outside the Mainland China to share research, teaching and practice experiences and to facilitate critical dialogue between Chinese social workers and their international peers.
The journal welcomes submissions from all areas of social work theory and practice, social workeducation, social development, and social policy in the Chinese context. While the journal willprimarily focus on the Chinese mainland, it welcomes contributions, from other countries and regions, which have broad implications for social work internationally.
Aims and Scope
• document updated social policy trends and initiatives in social work and social development in different Chinese societies.
• encourage international dialogue and debates on issues related to social work theory and practice, social work education, social development, and social policy in the Chinese context.
• promote indigenization of social work theory and practice in the Chinese context.
• serve as a catalyst to promote positive social development and to enhance social betterment in Chinese societies.

All submitted articles should be no more than 8000 English words, including abstract, references, tables, and figures. Electronic submission to sscjsw@inet.polyu.edu.hk is preferred. Strict Harvard style is required. The journal will be published 3 times a year.All manuscripts will be anonymously peer reviewed.Submissions should not exceed 8,000 English words, with an abstract of 100-150 words on a separate sheet of paper.
