C-Table sitters are the CGiG core executive group which also act as CGiG
steering committee. They have the obligation and rights to attend C-Table
meetings, run and plan CGiG’s practice and events, vote on CGiG’s
development and dedicate to CGiG as volunteers. You can found all CGiG
co-founders in this place.

Kenny
Chow Ka Nin was a graduate from The University of Hong Kong with honor
bachelor degree in Computer Science. Instead of being a programmer, he
began his career in Wharf Cable Ltd. as a graphics designer. Then, he
has been a computer graphics animator and technical director in Centro
Digital Pictures Ltd. and Menfond Electronic Art and Computer Design Co.
Ltd. from 1994 to 2001. Within these years, he has participated in many
TV commercials, video and film production, including:

(The Legend of Zu) – Chief Technical Director

(Hero) – The opening title sequence
Kenny now is a Lecturer in School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University. His area of specialism includes computer graphics, animation,
video and films. The recent focus is two folds. One is about the visual
storytelling power in animation and the other is always the procedural
approach to computer graphics.
Kenny
is also a part-time actor. He has stage performance experience in Edward
Lam Theatre from 1995 to 1996. He also cooperates with Hermann Ho, founder
of Plastic Tomato Pictures, actively participating in producing independent
short film and video. The recent work includes:

Recently, Kenny has been a co-founder of Computer Graphics Interest Group
(CGiG), a non-profit making organization which aims at gathering a group
of CG participants from both creative and technical disciplines to share
and exchange their knowledge, know-how and experience on CG related subjects.

Ann
Leung
Ann
Leung is a graduate from U.K. with a BA honors degree in graphic information
design. She has also completed the MA course in Design at the Hong Kong
Polytechnic University as well as a post-graduate Business Administration
course.
Ann has been working in a wide range of CG-related professions for the
past decade, covering graphics design, interactive multimedia, audio visual,
3D computer animation, video editing, compositing and Digital Visual Effects
across different production sectors. She becomes a certified instructor
for SoftImage product since 1997. Ann has been working as the Product
Manager for a couple of regional computer graphics dealer/resellers based
in Hong Kong as she has concrete experience setting up various CG systems
for broadcast studios and post-production houses in the area.
Ann
is presently a Lecturer in a local education institution teaching animation
and management subjects. She has also been a full-time freelancer and
her expertise is in CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) production design,
following listed part of her portfolio:

Eddie
Leung
Eddie,
Leung Hiu Ming was the original founder and chairman of Hong Kong Alias|Wavefront
User Group - HKAWUG since1996. He is one of the Executive Committee of
Alias|Wavefront Global User Association - AWGUA since 2000. Also, he is
one of the founders of Computer Graphics Interest Group - CGiG since 2002.
Starting from 1997, Eddie has produced more than eight large scale computer
graphics seminars in Hong Kong, with at least 250 to 750 audiences in
every single event including:

Besides acting as a producer and coordinator, Eddie also conducted public

and 3D Computer Graphics. Eddie is the first Alias|Wavefront Principle
Instructor in Design & Animation in Asia, first Alias|Wavefront Certified
Instructor in Design & Animation in Asia, and first Alias|Wavefront
Certified Instructor in Maya Essentials; Character Animation; and Maya
MEL for Artists in Hong Kong. Eddie was authorized to deliver eight different
Certified Alias|Wavefront training in the region.
In
1995, Eddie has established the first Alias|Wavefront Education Campus
Partner in Asia (in School of Design - H.K.PolyU). And he start to conduct
authorized hi-end 3DCG training courses for major production houses, like
Centro Digital Pictures Ltd., Menford Electronics Art & Design Co.,
Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), Hong Kong Trade Development Council,
Radio Hong Kong, Next Media, Philips Design Hong Kong, VTEC Hong Kong,
Jadason Technology Limited and other local Alias|Wavefront resellers,
etc…
In
1996, the training center was honored as the first Alias|Wavefront Centre
of Excellence in Asia by Alias|Wavefront CANADA, which leaded Eddie to
achieve the first President's Award for Achievement 1995/96 in the category
of Overall Achievement by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Eddie
is now acting as Senior Instructor in School of Design - The Hong Kong
Polytechnic University. Besides teaching, he is the System Administrator
of the Global Virtual Design Studio in the school. Out of office, he also
acted as judging panel for some 3DCG events produced by The Hong Kong
Productivity Council (HKPC), CG World Magazine, ACM SIGGRAPH Singapore
Chapter (SSC), and IDN - International Designers Network.

Leung
IIrving
LEUNG has over 4 years experience in web design and IT (Information Technology)
industry. Choosing to specialize in his design career on the Internet
after graduated from school, he has been working for several local web
agencies and involves in creating a number of web sites including the
award-winning HSBC Internet Banking, ANZ, Hactl, The Hong Kong Arts Festivals,
Hong Kong Tourism Board, KGI Asia, Intel, so as many others. He holds
a degree in Graphic Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and
is a student of the Alias|Wavefront Education Campus Partner program in
School of Design.
