Mr
Xi Chen received his M.Sc in Digital Signal Processing from King's College
London, University of London, UK, in 2005. Since December 2005, he has been a Ph.D student under supervision of Dr. S. C. Wong and Prof. C. K. Tse within the
Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic
University. He had worked for North China Power Engineering Co.,Ltd, Beijing,
China as a software engineer for 14 months before pursuing his master degree.

transport and routing protocols design for the Internet and
wireless networks; active queue management design and
analysis; large-scale traffic management; congestion control and network
optimization; modeling and performance evaluation.
Nonlinear systems: nonlinear dynamics analysis, and complex networks analysis and its application.
